Glossy Box Review December
The Glossy Box for the month of December was disappointing, not only because my eyeshadow was broken upon arrival, but I felt that they had an opportunity to knock my socks off and inspire me to buy gifts for friends and family….however, the box left me completely uninspired to purchase any of the products for my loved ones.
The design of the box was gorgeous and I will definitely use this box to store ornaments or Christmas goodies.
GlossyBox Eyeshadow in GlossyBox Mauve – Retail $11
The color, mauve, looked like it would suit my eye and skin color, but it’s too bad I won’t find out because it came smashed in pieces. I contacted Glossy Box via Twitter and their customer service email and received no response! Not cool.
I love mascara and I use multiple brands and styles, sometimes upon the same wearing. I like to double up my mascara by applying both a lengthening and voluming mascara at the same time. I was happy to receive this because I felt it was a good value and it will definitely get use.
So, I liked the color, but I’m really tired of Glossy Box sending nail polish. I wear my fingernails natural because I can’t keep nail polish on to save my life! I think it’s because my fingers are on a keyboard about 12 hours a day for work! For my toes…well, I prefer to get pedicures because I love a good foot massage! So the majority of my nail polish sits unused.
I am always looking for a good detangled and leave-in conditioner so hopefully this one will work well. I am especially excited to try this on my daughter’s hair because her hair is thick and difficult to brush.
I am ready for Glossy Box to step up their game and they definitely need to address their customer service issues. So far it’s been five days and counting since I contacted them regarding the broken item and still no response….
Did you receive the December Glossy Box? What did you think?
