Pop Sugar Box Review DecemberEach month I review the Pop Sugar Must Have Box and let you know the good, the bad and the ugly about the products. Check out this month’s review for the full scoop!
Pop Sugar is a monthly subscription service for women and contains items that fit an active lifestyle. The cost is $39.95 a month.
This month Pop Sugar had the opportunity to give products that inspired the purchase of gifts for friends and family…did they pass the test?
The bracelet, my by Luv Aj is a mixture of gold, silver and rose gold plating. It is a chunky bracelet and comes in a cute leather case. My daughter loves the bracelet and I think it’s OK, but I’m not sure how often I’d wear it.
The “My Cup of Cake” pouch contains a mixture to make a delicious cupcake in a mug. This looks like a super yummy treat that won’t take much time to make. My daughter was also excited to try this and it looks easy enough for her to make herself.
Nima Oberoi Lunares Geo Stopper – Retail $24
Not to be a Debbie Downer, but this is the worst. I don’t drink wine, so it’s virtually useless for me. Also, who needs a decorative wine stopper? Maybe because I don’t drink wine I don’t understand, but I’m not sure who would need a fancy wine stopper, doesn’t it come with a cork? I’m confused.
I was super psyched for the trio of lipsticks! Even though I have subscription boxes to GlossyBox and Birch Box, I always LOVE makeup in all of my boxes. I also look for portable makeup that I can throw in my gym bag and allow me to quickly look presentable after my workout! The colors are great also! The brand is Stowaway and ALL of their products are paraben, phthalate, and cruelty-free.
I was super excited to open the box that was nice and heavy inside the Pop Sugar Box, but was disappointed to find it was a jewelry box. The color (mint) is beautiful, but I have no need or desire for a jewelry box. First, I really don’t wear jewelry that often and second, I already have several jewelry boxes. I didn’t find this one particularly special or unique. It’s made by SwingDesign
This tape is super cute, but I am the world’s worst gift wrapper and I pretty much stuff gifts in bags, so I didn’t use this on any Christmas presents. However, I may use this for a craft project. Maybe? If you know of a cool use for this tape, let me know!
What did you think of December’s Pop Sugar Must Have Box? If they don’t step up their game, I’m cancelling! This is the second month in a row that I’ve been disappointed.
