Birch Box December Review

Birch Box December Review

Birch Box is a monthly beauty box subscription service that is only $10 a month! This is an extremely good deal, especially when you consider the awesome products they include every month!

When I first started subscribing to Glossy Box, Birch Box, Ipsy and Pop Sugar, Glossy Box was my favorite and Birch Box was my least favorite. However, over time Birch Box has gotten better and better and now it’s my FAV!

This month they had several products that knocked it out of the park!Birch Box December

The box was a nice design, but note that Birch Box doesn’t have as nice of boxes or packaging as Glossy Box. Their boxes aren’t as reusable.

Kopan Coconut Oil

First, the coconut oil is something I’ve been wanting to try for quite some time, so getting it in the box was a pleasant surprise! I have heard that there are so many uses for coconut oil for beauty, including hydrating dry skin, repairing damaged hair, shrinking pimples, removing makeup and softening hair. I used it on my hands for a moisturizer and I was impressed.

Roloxin Lift – Full size retails for $100

They sell Roloxin Lift for $100 at Bloomingdales, so imagine my delight to find two packets of this product in my box. I actually prefer to have small sizes of high-end products than full size products that I can get anywhere. Birch Box offers the perfect blend. I can’t wait to try this out.

The Balm – Frat Boy – Retail $22 for full size

The Balm in Frat Boy is both an eye shadow and a blush. I love when my makeup can work dual duty. It’s great to throw this in your gym bag or purse and carry less to do more. The color is great for a cheeky glow and gentle color.

CoastalScents Style Eyes – Eye Shadow Sampler

I love the colors in this eye shadow sampler and it’s compact size is perfect for throwing in my purse or gym bag. I can definitely keep this compact duet on hand for a quick makeover after a run.

Oribe Hair Spray

I don’t use hairspray and I’m really, seriously tired of getting hair spray, hair clay spray and other hair products in the beauty boxes. I like conditioner, but that’s it! I never style my hair. I don’t blow dry it, straighten it or do anything than wash and go. So, having hair spray is completely useless. I need to contact Birch Box and ask if they can stop sending me hair products.
